Hi! I am a Doctor of Social Work and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 16 years of clinical practice working with children, adolescents, and families, as well as 8 years of experience in non-profit executive leadership development. I am passionate about mental health and youth advocacy. As a trauma-informed clinician and practitioner, I center my practice on the understanding that rest is resistance and that living in a capitalistic society creates an imbalance for humans. I value human relationships and honor my clients' lived experiences as we work together to change their narratives. I have worked in many clinical settings, including inpatient psychiatric care, private practice, and in-home community care. I am also a Certified Clinical Supervisor. After graduating from SUNY New Paltz in 2005 with a double major in Black Studies and Psychology, I earned my MSW from Columbia University and a Doctorate in Social Work from Simmons University. I am a mother of two and enjoy reading. Recently, I discovered a passion for nurturing house plants. I specialize in and focus on supporting clients who have experienced burnout and are undergoing life transitions.
